Hello again!
I can’t believe I’m writing two lesson plans today. LOL
For this lesson plan, we will read The Good Egg by Jory John and Pete Oswald. I think this lesson is a perfect read for Easter Sunday.
Word Focus: verbs (rescue, carry, water, change, paint, help)
Meaning Focus: what peace means
Thinking Focus: what being good means and how to deal with other people’s behavior
Purpose: For children to reflect on what peace looks like
Autonomy: For children to learn to appreciate and/or embrace their authenticity while confidently blending in with their environment
